THE LORD'S DAY @ RAY
Every Sunday morning at 11 o'clock Ray PC offers worship service that is Christ-centered, largely traditional, and alive. We use liturgical and contemporary elements. Our music is exceptional. Our pastor preaches expository sermons, moving through entire books.
SACRAMENTS
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Sacrament of Communion. We practice "open communion" -- all who are baptized and claim Jesus as Savior & Lord are invited to join us. The elders bring the elements -- first the bread and then the fruit of the vine (personal-sized cups, some with grape juice, others with wine) -- to the pews.
On Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve, worshipers who are able come forward to receive the elements by intinction.
The Sacrament of Baptism is administered, as requested, to believers (and their children) who have not heretofore received Trinitarian baptism, that is, "in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."
We do not rebaptize.
While Presbyterians traditionally baptize by "sprinkling", we will, when requested, baptize by immersion or effusion.
